• Payment. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable on booking. The balance of the total holiday cost is payable 6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. Bookings within 6 weeks of arrival will require full payment. Confirmation of reservation will be sent to you.
• Damages / Breakage's. Any damage during your stay must be paid for or replaced.
• Cleaning. We ask guests to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition. A cleaning charge may be levied where additional cleaning is required.
• Cancellation. If the guest does not pay the balance by the time due, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. In this event, or if the guest cancels the booking after it is confirmed, the deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations must be made in writing . We recommend you seek holiday cancellation insurance to cover this eventuality. Every effort will be made to re-let and any rent received will be returned in full after deduction of costs incurred.
• Changes made by the owners. Where ever possible you will be advised of all changes without delay. Should circumstances beyond our control require us to cancel a booking, we will refund all monies paid.
• Insurance. We are not responsible for any loss of life, injuries, illness or loss or damage to property or to that of any guest, however caused. Please ensure children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times. We recommend you take out your own holiday insurance with your insurance broker to cover these eventualities.
• Arrival / Departure. Wanney Cottage is available from 4pm on the day of arrival and vacated before 10am on the day of departure. This allows time to prepare for the arrival of new guests. Please inform us of expected time of arrival.
• Complaints. We will always do our best to ensure that you will have a pleasant stay at Wanney Cottage. Should any problems arise please tell us at the earliest opportunity, as most problems can be simply resolved.
• Pets. Dogs and other small pets are welcome by agreement. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the proximity of the cottage because of livestock in the fields. Dogs cannot be left unaccompanied in the cottage and are not allowed upstairs.
• Smoking. Occupants are kindly asked not to smoke inside the cottage, for the benefit of other / future guests. Limited smoking is permitted in the kitchen and outside.
• Occupancy. The cottage is designed and equipped to accommodate a maximum of 5 people. This number must not be exceeded.
